Cookies and milk may cut it for Santa…

…but the rest of us long for more savory holiday beverages!  One of my favorite things to do is to set up a holiday beverage station in my home!  It can be as simple or elaborate as you wish.  Set aside a cozy nook, exclusively for the merry making of hot holiday beverages!  Mine is tucked into one corner of my kitchen, on its own buffet table, with a festive piece of wall art as a backdrop… and framed in twinkle lights.

Set up the Basics

Begin by tossing a holiday-themed table runner across the buffet table.  Add a festive backdrop (I used framed wall art, but it could be anything from holiday wrapping paper to a fabric backdrop)….

Lazy Susan

Fill a multi-tiered Lazy Susan with the essentials for holiday hot cocoa, hot tea and coffee.

Amendments

Add individual packets of your favorite sweeteners and other amendments.  I use packets of Truvia, monk fruit, and sugar.

Sugar cubes displayed in a mason jar also lend a charming touch, or offer rock sugar swizzle sticks for a fun twist on sweetening!

Festive amendments make all the difference and will draw your family and friends to the beverage station!

My first stop for traditional favorites is Williams-Sonoma!

Shop on-line, or for that “holiday feeling,” stop by the store in person!  Grab the following W-S items for your beverage station:

Marshmallow Snowmen

Our 6-year-old granddaughter wants to know, “Why is the snowman wearing headphones?”  Ha, ha…

Marshmallow Snowflakes

Marshmallow Alphabet Letters.  This year W-S came out with Marshmallow Alphabet Letters!  So, you can sip your hot cocoa through your very own personalized floating marshmallow!    “A Playful Personalized Holiday Treat!”  I have not found these to be available on the W-S website; I got mine in person at the store.

Gingerbread  Folks and Gingerbread House Mug Toppers

New to the Safe Hazen line-up this year are:

Hammond’s chocolate dunking spoons (they are wooden spoons with a chocolate cube at the end).  Many retailers carry these (including Amazon): I actually found mine at the grocery store!

Pictured below in salted caramel, peppermint, dark chocolate, and milk chocolate…

A few other trusted standby amendments include:

Candy cane spoons, candy cane swizzle sticks, and good-old-fashioned cinnamon sticks…

Be sure to use festive mugs, plates and napkins!

Guys, look below for the most adorable dessert plates!  I mean, a VW bus and a camper!  Gotta have ‘um!  Click on the image for the Amazon link!

To accompany the beverages, have some homemade cookies or peppermint bark on hand.  I am a huge fan of the W-S Peppermint Bark, which comes in small break-apart sheets, or individually-wrapped morsels.

Ghirardelli also makes a delightful peppermint bark, which also comes in individually wrapped pieces.

If you have room, add your Keurig, tea maker or coffee maker to the same table.

Add a candle that smells like vanilla or gingerbread, and voila!  You’ve just created an inviting holiday nook for family members to gather round and enjoy!

Below is a Shopping slider…

It showcases the products feaured in this post, with clickable links to Amazon and Williams Sonoma!

In some cases I was able to post the exact products I used in my beverage station; in others I substituted a similar item that I thought you would like!

Enjoy!
